The African Immigrant Rights Council (AIRC) is a community-centered organization dedicated to empowering African immigrants in the United States through information sharing, advocacy, education, and collective support. AIRC was created to help African immigrant communities navigate life in the U.S. by connecting people to resources, opportunities, and trusted information while promoting dignity, unity, and social justice.
Inspired by the vision and values of Julius Kambarage Nyerere, AIRC believes in the power of community, cooperation, and collective progress. The organization embraces principles of solidarity and shared responsibility to strengthen African immigrant voices and build supportive networks that help individuals and families thrive. Through advocacy, civic engagement, and community collaboration, AIRC works to create a more informed, connected, and empowered African immigrant community across the United States.
